According to the framework of EU Regulations 517/2014 for fluorinated greenhouse
gases and (EC) 1005/2009 for ozone-depleting substances, as well as the
corresponding Ministerial Decisions, namely JMD YPEN/DEDE/85858/2124 and JMD
37411/1829/E103/2007 as amended, operators of equipment containing such substances,
such as chillers, heat pumps, etc., are obliged to record, complete, and submit to the
electronic platform of the Ministry of Environment and Energy the annual maintenance
and technical work data, if the quantity contained in the equipment exceeds the limits
set in the Regulations. Specifically, in the equipment registration and monitoring
subsystem, data are submitted concerning maintenance, repair, modification, installation
or decommissioning work, as well as detailed data on the substances that may have
been introduced or recovered from the respective equipment through the Electronic
Inspection Report (EDI).
